Application:

It is used as a solvent for nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate, and is also used in the perfume industry

As a spice, it is mainly used to prepare flavors such as rum, milk, cream, grapes, fruit wine, and coconut.

It is often used to modulate fruit flavor, lactic acid flavor for food and wine. The dosage is according to normal production needs, generally 1000 mg/kg in alcoholic beverages, 580-3100 mg/kg in chewing gum, 71 mg/kg in baked goods, 28 mg/kg in candy, and 17 mg/kg in cold drinks.

It is widely used as a lubricant and as an additive in industrial preparations.

It is used in the manufacture of metallic stearates, pharmaceuticals, soaps, cosmetics, and food packaging.

It is also used as a softener, accelerator activator and dispersing agent in rubbers.
