Usage:

It is an organic compound used as an ingredient in sunscreens and cosmetics to absorb UVB (ultraviolet rays) from the sun

It is mainly used in fragrances to improve UV stability, reducing colour and odour changes due to light exposure.

Use: broad spectrum UVB and UVA filter for uniform and risk-free tanning (erythema, dehydration and keratosis). It is not altered by perspiration and has no systemic absorption.
